Nettrack
OK, So… nettrack.
What’s is that about?
It’s a pet project which is looking to create a simple tracking system for IP addresses and Switch ports, so you won’t loose your mind every time you need to allocate an IP to a new server or find out which server is connected to f0/15 .
I have this plain Excel Spreadsheet today that does the trick, however you can probably think about all the downsides of such solution. Bellow you can see how they look today and, therefore, extrapolate to how nettrack should look in the future.
